As a player, Ian Feuer was the first American goalkeeper signed by a European team and the first to join the English Premier League. He also represented the United States National Team and the 1992 US Olympic team in Barcelona.

Coaching Career

As a coach, Ian guided the full US men’s, women’s, and Paralympic National teams and was the head goalkeeper coach for LA Galaxy from 2007-2014, and went to 3 MLS Cup Finals winning 2 of them in the process. Ian is currently Director of Goalkeeping for LA Galaxy, overseeing goalkeepers from professional to youth levels and is creating one of the best MLS Goalkeeping Departments in the country.

Through Ian Feuer’s Goalkeeping Academy he has done countless hours of coaching every level of goalkeeper, which has helped him to develope a style of coaching and mentoring that is demanding, unique and positive. The only way to understand it is to experience it first hand.
